ABOUT
BIRCH CREEK BOXERS
The name Birch Creek comes from a National Forest area in Southeast Missouri. Birch Creek's Timberland began by my father with land that he inherited from his father. Deciding how catchy it was, I made the decision to call myself and my dogs, Birch Creek Boxers.
Birch Creek Boxer's began in May of 2005 when I purchased my first boxer, Chopper. I did not know at the time that I was falling into a lifelong love for the breed. Chopper gave me so much in his short time with me that I will take with me for the rest of my life! I soon found myself going to dog shows. I of course found my way to the Boxer ring and sat and watched. I watched both the dogs and the handlers. I began wanting to show dogs or atleast have one and have it shown. I then saw Levi, Lucas' sire, at Purina Farms in Gray Summit, MO with handler, Jorge Pinzon. I got myself a catalog and tried to figure out how to read it! I then found Peggy Otto of PRO Boxers, Levi's owner. And then Lucas came shortly after giving me my inspiration for all future choices in conformation, breeding, handling, etc., and friendships of which will remain lifelong. With the love and support of my mother, Sally, who believes I can be anything I want to be, these dreams don't seem unreachable.
Birch Creek Boxers strives to only improve the breed. We are currently active in Conformation and soon hope to compete in Agility and Obedience with Harley.
